ISL Netball 2025 Wrap
The ISL was back for a 3rd year, bigger and better than ever!
2025 marked the ISL’s most ambitious year yet reflecting the rapid growth and rising profile of elite school netball across the UK.
The brainchild of Millfield’s Director of Netball, Jenna Adamson, the League was designed to diversify performance opportunities for U19 school netball teams beyond traditional school fixtures and knockout pathways.
This season saw the ISL nearly double in size, driven by the introduction of the Academy League; a new tier designed to broaden participation opportunities. The expanded structure featured two leagues running concurrently – the Super League and Academy League – each built to challenge players through a high-intensity, professionally delivered competition environment.
With over 230 elite netballers, 16 leading independent schools, and guest squads including Wales U19, Worcester University, and MK Dons, the ISL delivered a showcase of top quality netball.
The 2025 competition unfolded across three Sundays at two of the UK’s top netball venues:
5 October – Academy League at University of Worcester Arena
12 October – Super League at David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham
23 November – Both leagues returned to Worcester for Finals Day
Fully Produced, Premium Broadcast
It was an epic event, fully produced by Huddle’s dream team! We had a star-studded line up featuring the one and only, Pamela Cookey, former England Netball captain on commentary and our partner VYPR brought their ambassador, Chelsea Pitman, Nottingham Forest, and ex-England and New Zealand international, engaging directly with players. Running the show, we had the fabulous Lucy Goodman, who came straight from hosting the Wales v Zimbabwe international fixture at Cardiff City’s House of Sport, to Worcester.
The event reached far beyond the court through NextGenLive’s YouTube channel, generating an impressive 16.4k cumulative livestream views. Across social media, Huddle’s ISL content amassed over 300k views, showcasing the scale of engagement from players, families, and the wider netball community. A Milestone Year for the ISL

Jenna could not put it better when describing our excitement regarding the partnership;
“I am extremely excited to have partnered with Huddle Events who are providing specialist operational support and helping drive forward the vision of the ISL.”
Huddle’s collaboration with Jenna and the ISL reflects a shared commitment to elevating youth netball, providing athletes with professional-level environments, exposure, and competition formats that prepare them for the next stage of their sporting pathways.
